      Good hardware

      As simple as this item appears to be, it is a lovingly made piece of equipment. I cannot find anything to complain about. From the quality of the components on the board, to the choice of stainless screws and brass inserts for the case mounts, to the thickness and precision of the case casting, to the fit and finish of every part. Everything is tight and precise. The labels will not come off, the thumbscrews are easy to handle. The ports are accessible and well laid out. As someone who has to work with a lot of hack-ish hardware; this, like the other gear from PST is just a pleasure to use. Its robust and trustworthy. I know that it will have a long service life and still be working when I'm obsolete. This is what research hardware should be.
